Client Referral Misconduct Alleged

The Columbus (Ohio) Bar Association has charged an attorney with ethical violations arising from his alleged participation in paid solicitation networks to obtain personal injury plaintiff clients.

The complaint alleges that the accused attorney “immediately and freely admitted” paying two solicitation companies for client referrals when the bar began an investigation.

He allegedly paid one of the companies $190,900 in referral fees from June 2022 to May 2023.
