Clark Update: It’s A Privilege
The prosecution has rested in the Jeffrey Clark bar discipline matter.
Former Acting Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen testified this morning.
Disciplinary Counsel then called Mr. Clark as a witness. After providing some biographical information, he invoked a number of privileges with respect to each and every question relating to the charges. He cited the law enforcement privilege, deliberate privilege and attorney-client privilege in addition to the Fifth Amendment.
The highlight of the day was at the end of his testimony. The non-attorney member of the Hearing Committee asked him who his client was and he immediately responded that his client was Mr. Trump.
Interesting.
His defense to the charges is set to begin at 2:50 EST. (Mike Frisch)
