The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter

There has been a flurry of pleadings filed in the Jeffrey Clark bar discipline matter in the District of Columbia over the past two days.

Respondent’s main point seems to be his need for discovery into the allegation that he is the “victim” of discriminatory enforcement because “Hunter Biden’s criminal law troubles have been widely publicized” without bar charges while “from the start of this case [ODC] has been in a hurry to run roughshod over Mr. Clark’s constitutional, statutory and procedural rights.”

Respondent is alleged to have attempted to run roughshod over the rights of the entire country to select their President.

There is a significant and pressing public interest in a determination on the merits of that allegation.

Hunter Biden’s taxes, not so much.
