Town Court Justice Suspended With Pay
The New York Court of Appeals has suspended a town court justice with pay.

Little Falls’ town justice faces felony drug charges following a three-month investigation, the New York State Police said in a statement.
Troopers said Mitchell Q. Soules Jr., 34 from Little Falls, was charged Wednesday with three felony counts. These charges are third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a controlled substance with an intent to sell and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Soules was arrested following a three-month investigation conducted by the New York State Police Violent Gang & Narcotics Enforcement Team (VGNET) Utica Office, troopers said.
Soules is the current town justice for the town of Little Falls in Herkimer County. He was arraigned in the Town of German Flatts and released on his own recognizance.
Soules has been removed from his judicial duties, according to the New York State Office of Court Administration.
Soules is scheduled to appear back in the Town of German Flatts Court on July 18.
