Ohio Board Seeks Sanctions
A report and recommendation of the Ohio Board of Professional Conduct calls for an indefinite suspension without credit for time served on an interim suspension.
The attorney was convicted of unlawful sexual contact with a minor she knew to be 13 years old “over several moths in 2018 and 2019.”
In an unrelated matter, the board recommends that a former Cuyahoga County prosecutor be suspended for 18 months with six months stayed and credit for time served on an interim suspension for communications on his personal phone while at work with an undercover police officer posing as a 15 year old.
He did not follow through on a plan to meet in person.
He pled guilty to a one fifth-degree felony count of unlawful use of a telecommunication device. (Mike Frisch)
