Above The Law: Clark Seeks Further Delay

As I expected, Jeffrey Clark’s counsel in his District of Columbia bar disciplinary matter persists in the contention that he may not be prosecuted by the Bar that licensed him and that the matter should continue to be held in abeyance in light of his appeal to the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit of the District Court remand order and a lodged appeal to the District of Columbia Court of Appeals.

The Court of Appeals matter involves enforcement of a subpoena.

As I also expected, Disciplinary Counsel disagrees and seeks to have the hearing conducted as soon as possible after Labor Day.
