Clark Removal Documents Posted
The Cases of Public Interest link on the District of Columbia Bar web page now has posted the Notice of Removal to Federal Court filed on behalf of Jeffrey B. Clark as well as the Response of Disciplinary Counsel.
Disciplinary Counsel argues that Respondent “completely distorts [28 U.S. C.] section 530B” in support of his argument, made false statements concerning the actions of the hearing committee and that the removal attempt is a part of a pattern to delay the consideration of the substance of the ethics allegations.
On the Giuliani watch, Respondent has filed a motion to disqualify proposed expert Matthew Sanderson of Caplin & Drysdale on grounds of purported bias against his former client as shown by “animus based tweets” and his representation of The Lincoln Project, “whose mission it is to prevent the reelection of Donald J. Trump.” (Mike Frisch)
