A person who had filed a bar grievance against two attorneys sued Disciplinary Counsel for dismissing the complaints.
The dismissal of the action was affirmed by the Connecticut Appellate Court
The record before us unequivocally indicates that the defendant’s actions in the present case were taken in a quasi-judicial capacity as part of a statewide grievance proceeding, and that the defendant at all times acted pursuant to the authority vested in his office by our General Statutes. His actions, therefore, are protected by absolute immunity. For that reason, the trial court properly granted the motion to dismiss.
