A Peripatetic Reprimand

The consequences that result from admission to multiple state bars include payment of a boatload of bar dues and the fallout from a single finding of an ethical lapse.

An attorney who was reprimanded by the Southern Nevada Disciplinary Board has been subject to reciprocal discipline in Kentucky, Minnesota, Washington State, Texas, Idaho and, most recently Michigan.

The Minnesota Supreme Court described the violations

Respondent was publicly reprimanded in Nevada for failing to supervise a non-lawyer employee who engaged in the unauthorized practice of law, and for utilizing a retainer agreement that provided for an unreasonable fee. See Nevada Rules of Professional Conduct 1.5 and 5.3.
