“I Don’t Care”

The North Carolina State Bar recently filed a three-count complaint against an attorney.

Count One alleges that the attorney engaged in unauthorized practice while suspended for CLE non-compliance; Count Two alleges a number of tax violations.

Count Three alleges conduct in violation of a family violence protective order.

Allegedly, the attorney sent more than 20 emails after the order that threatened legal actions and made derogatory statements including

I’m breaking every court rule known to mankind and I don’t care.

The victim then filed a criminal complaint that led to an arrest warrant.

When an officer came to the home of the victim’s friend, it is alleged that he wrote “Fuck U” on the friends door and refused to leave the premises.

The attorney pled guilty to four misdemeanors. (Mike Frisch)
