I have made a number of efforts to informally advise responsible officials of the District of Columbia Bar how difficult – if not impossible – it has become to find information concerning public disciplinary matters and legal ethics opinions since the redesign of the Bar’s web page.

My frustration at the lack of response is the reason for this post.

The various functions to locate charges, reports and other information about – in particular – decided cases from the past make the present web page not just inadequate but potentially misleading to a consumer of legal services, who might rely on the gaps in information to their detriment.
