Driving While Masturbating: A Reckless Operation
The Butler County (Ohio) Bar Association has filed a complaint alleging misconduct that took place on October 25, 2018.
On that date, it is alleged, that “a State Trooper received a dispatch that a motorist on I-75 was masturbating while driving.”
The driver was stopped “in a state of nudity with his pants covering his lap.”
The trooper believed he was intoxicated and filed charges of OVI and public indecency.
In one court he pled to reckless operation and received a fine, suspended term and participation in an driving intervention program. He pled to public indecency in another court and was given a fine, a suspended term and nonreporting probation.
The rest of the story- thank you Paul Harvey – he had been the city prosecutor until 2006, when video “depicted him naked after hours in the Government Services Center” were discovered but the ensuing charges were dismissed on speedy trial grounds.
And on March 20 2018 a stop for a headlight violation revealed him to be “in a state of nudity” but no charges were filed. (Mike Frisch)
