Honk If You Support Suspension

A Pennsylvania attorney was suspended for five years as agreed discipline resulting from a Dade County Florida conviction for a road rage incident that ended up in a plea to attempted 1st degree murder with a firearm.

The incident took place on February 15, 2017 when the attorney turned in front of another person’s car. The other person honked at him.

The attorney responded by making a u-turn, pulling out a firearm and firing a shot though his passenger window at the honker.

Mercifully he missed but other shots hit a parked automobile.

He was sentenced to 364 days.

The sanction was imposed retroactive to the date of his interim suspension. (Mike Frisch)
