Drug Free School Zone

A Coffee County attorney has been suspended for three years with all but six months stayed and probation by the Tennessee Supreme Court for her conviction of a schedule II drug violation in a drug free school zone. 

After her arrest and treatment, she failed to communicate with and diligently represent clients.

Manchester Times reported on the arrest

 A Manchester attorney has been arrested for swapping drugs for her legal fees.

Judith Anne Ross St. Clair, 35, of Manchester was arrested April 10 by Manchester Police Investigator Jonathan Anthony on charges of schedule II drug violation and drug free school zone. St. Clair was arrested after she was allegedly involved in a drug transaction in the parking lot of Walgreen’s in Manchester. The investigator alleges in a warrant that she was found in possession of 30 pills believed to be oxycodone. The warrant alleges that she was found with the drugs in the school zone of College Street Elementary School. St. Clair was booked into the Coffee County Jail on the charges and she is to appear in Coffee County General Sessions Court on April 18.
