The Minnesota Supreme Court has imposed an 18-month suspension of an attorney , concluding that disbarment was not required for the attorney’s brief lapse into misppropropriation.
The misconduct involved two transactions totalling $40,000 that occurred over a 5-day period that the attorney used to make his law firm payroll obligations,
The court noted that he had no ownership interest in the law firm and had restored the funds within a month. (Mike Frisch)
