Charges filed by the illinois Administrator allege the unauthorized practice of law

At no time has Respondent applied for admission or been admitted to practice law in Illinois.

Between at least June 20, 2007 and July 30, 2014, Respondent held himself out as authorized to practice law in Illinois and he represented clients in… Illinois cases…

He allegedly represented 16 criminal and traffic clients and

In at least thirteen of the cases…Respondent used an Illinois attorney’s name and/or registration number: Paul M. Storment, Jr., registration number 2748150 (“Storment”), on appearances and pleadings. Respondent also used the designation “Storment and Hanlin” on the pleadings.

 At no time did Storment give Respondent authority to use his name or registration number on Illinois pleadings.

He also is alleged to have provided false information in the investigation. (Mike Frisch)
