An attorney who violated a protection from abuse order of his ex-wife has consented to disbarment by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
The attorney made 70 to 90 calls to his ex-wife while the order was in effect.
An array of criminal violations took place in September 2008 and began with a call to his ex-wife’s mother telling her that “they had two hours or something would happen to all of them.”
He later that evening appeared in the yard of his ex-wife carrying a beige bag. The police responded and saw him drop the bag while fleeing. The bag was covered with the attorney’s blood, which also was “found on several areas of the house and yard, including a set of French doors and the surrounding patio area.”
He is currently incarcerated. (Mike Frisch)
