A Virginia attorney received a public reprimand for non-disclosure of criminal history information on his application for bar admission.

The attorney answered the bar complaint by stating that “any charge reference [in the complaint] predated my licensure” and that his bar disclosures were “100% accurate.”

But he committed petit larceny by shoplifting from Home Depot 22 days after he was issued a law license and failed to disclose all his prior criminal charges, including “at least five additional criminal offenses” he was charged with prior to admission. (iIke Frisch)
