In a post the other day in which we reported that two Wisconsin Supreme Court justices expressed serious concerns about the state’s attorney discipline system, we noted that the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s investigation uncovered the fact that convicted attorneys were escaping scrutiny.
The reporting had an impact, resulting in a number of disciplinary proceedings and sanctions.
We also lamented the abject failure of investigative journalism in probing the D.C. diascuiplinary system.
