The North Carolina State Bar has filed a complaint alleging that an attorney engaged in misdemeanor child abuse by threatening physical violence against his minor child.

The complaint further alleges that the attorney made false statements to the police and in the bar investigation.

The attorney filed an answer that denies the misconduct and seeks dismissal of the charges. (Mike Frisch)
