Disability Suspension For Attorney Accused Of Sex Harassment

The Delaware Supreme Court has entered an order placing an attorney on disability inactive status.

Delaware Online had this March 8, 2013 report on criminal charges involving the attorney

A longtime Wilmington criminal attorney was charged with sexual harassment following a five-month investigation by Wilmington police into the complaints of two women.

Joseph A. Gabay, 55, of Kennett Square, Pa., was charged with two counts of sexual harassment and released on $2,000 unsecured bail, said Cpl. Mark Ivey.

The investigation stemmed from complaints filed against the attorney by two women, whom he allegedly made sexual remarks to and offered legal services in exchange for sexual favors.
