Ten Rules, One Year
An attorney who had violated ten ethics rules involving neglect and the mishandling od cases and money “while struggling with alcoholism” has been suspended for at least one year by the Iowa Supreme Court.
A division of the Grievance Commission had proposed a three-year suspension.
The attorney had been suspended on an interim basis and must demonstrate his sobriety and fitness to practice prior to reinstatement. (Mike Frisch)
