Three Strikes

An attorney who had concocted a false story in response to a disciplinary complaint has been disbarred by the Georgia Supreme Court.

The underlying misconduct involved a forged signature on a deed.

The attorney had been the subject of two prior disciplinary orders, one of which involved a suspension for his conviction of money laundering.

The other prior case imposed a reprimand.  (Mike Frisch)
