A divided Utah Supreme Court upheld a district court determination that ClearOne Communications was obligated to indemnify the costs charged by Dorsey & Whitney for defending former CFO Susie Strohm.

Strohm was acquitted on seven of eight federal criminal charges.

A dissent would also permit the firm to recoup the costs of collection.
