Identity Fraud Leads To Bar Charges

The Illinois Administrator has filed a complaint that alleges that an attorney had failed to consult with his client and falsely represented that the client had retained him. According to the allegations, the attorney was contacted by a person who falsely claimed to be the daughter of the owner of real property. The attorney is alleged to have taken steps to sell the property without ever meeting or consulting with the client. (Mike Frisch)
