Symposium Opportunity: Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics

During the upcoming academic year, the Georgetown Center for theStudy of the Legal Profession and the GeorgetownJournal of Legal Ethicswill be co-hosting a symposium on current trendsand issues confronting lawyers and law firms. The organizers areparticularly interested in work that provides insightinto the dynamics of modern practice through the use of qualitative orquantitative empirical research methods. In the spring of 2009, thepapers will be presented to a combinedacademic and practitioner audience at Georgetown University Law Center(travel and lodging paid for by symposium organizers). Researchersinterested in participatingshould submit a working title of the proposed paper/study to ProfessorMittRegan (regan@law.georgetown.edu)and Editor-in-Chief Matt Smith (mus2@law.georgetown.edu)by August 1, 2008. A draft of acceptedpapers will be due by October 30th; completed drafts will be due by November30th. Please contact the symposiumorganizers with any additional questions.
