Another Good ABA Journal Story: Gonzales and Other Lawyers Eschew Email

Another interesting April 2007 ABA Journal story, Is Silence Golden?, explores the fact that AG Alberto Gonzales does not email, along with many others in the administration including Condoleezza Rice.  The story examines why other lawyers and CEOs have similarly taken themselves out of that world, and quotes White Collar Crime Prof‘s own Peter Henning on some aspects.  No answer to the obvious question:  If you don’t use email, how do you know that you have won a UK soccer lottery and have an opportunity to smuggle funds out of Nigeria?  Plus you sadly don’t get those philosophical “Irreplaceable or Rickets” or “Ciali$ Med$” Re lines.  [Alan Childress]
