N.C. Bar Amends Nifong Ethics Complaint To Add DNA Withholding

The AP is reporting (here is the New York Times on-line version) that the North Carolina bar’s ethics complaint against DA Mike Nifong is now amended — as announced today — to include charges based on his withholding DNA evidence from the defendants in the Duke lacrosse prosecutions and for, related to that, misleading the court.  Here too is the local North Carolina TV version of the story, from WRAL, just updated.  [Alan Childress; HT to Ray Diamond]
