A consent reprimand with probation has been approved by the Arizona Presiding Disciplinary Judge

Mr. Cook represented a client in probate proceedings. During the representation, he used unprofessional language and made disparaging remarks in court filings, which the superior court described as “bizarre and groundless allegations against his colleagues” and “incendiary” claims against a judicial officer. The court further found that Mr. Cook’s
conduct “resulted in a substantial waste of the time of the Court and the parties.”  Additionally, Mr. Cook missed the deadline for paying court-ordered sanctions. (His appeal of the sanctions order is pending). In the Agreement, he states that if the sanctions order is upheld by the Court of Appeals, he will “comply with the order or otherwise timely address any award through proper legal means.”
