By Any Measure. . .

Miranda Perry Fleischer over at PrawfsBlawg has invited us to think about the relative incommensurability of being a law professor and the ways we substitute other measurements outside of school life.  This is a challenge I can’t pass up, particularly if it is likely that someone can post more, better, or funnier ones than me.  Here are several off the top of my head (which on good days is five Scalefeet ten and half inches off the ground without shoes):

1.  Bad cholesterol.
2.  Good cholesterol.
3.  Pounds.
4.  Golf handicap.
5.  Inches taller than Childress.
6.  Delta Frequent Flyer Miles.
7.  Total count of “Great Philosopher Finger Puppet” collection.
8.  Number of the American Film Institute Top 100 movies I have seen.
9.  Zulu coconuts collected.
