The Maryland Court of Appeals has entered an order of disbarment of an attorney who did not appear for today’s scheduled oral argument.

According to Assistant Bar Counsel, he did not participate below and had not filed objections to the circuit judge’s report.

The attorney’s grandfather is a icon of the Civil rights movement.

His father was a  former State Senator disbarred in 1988 by consent in the wake of a federal criminal conviction.
