A Virginia attorney has consented to license revocation as a result of a misdemeanor sex crime conviction.

Disgraced former Albemarle Supervisor Christopher J. Dumler forfeited his law license ahead of a Virginia State Bar disciplinary hearing on his 2013 sex crime conviction, according to court records.

Dumler signed an affidavit stating that if the disciplinary proceedings based on his misdemeanor sexual assault conviction were prosecuted, “he could not successfully defend them.”

It further reported that the attorney pled guilty to a misdemeanor while facing charges of forcible sodomy. (Mike Frisch)
