Debt Relief Is Law Practice By Suspended Attorney

The California State Bar Court has recommended disbarment of a suspended attorney who engaged in unauthorized practice of law.

The attorney had a significant record of prior discipline. He performed legal services for several debt relief entities after he was suspended.

The court here concluded that it had jurisdiction over unauthorized practice allegations and found twelve instances of UPL that violated practice restrictions of a number of states. (Mike Frisch)
