Wisconsin Considering Repealing or Extending Its Diploma Privilege?

An interesting upcoming ABA Journal story on the current politics and history of the rule in Wisconsin that allows UW and Marquette grads to be admitted without a bar exam.  The story is:Wisconsin Bar Weighs a Degree of Change:  Status may end as last state to admit its law school grads without taking bar exam. Definitely an advantage for those schools and their students, but is it out of sync with today’s standards and the national market?  A University of Chicago law grad a few miles away has to take their bar exam!  [Alan Childress]
